LD NRW have a new board

Last Saturday, the party members of the Liberal Democrats from NRW met with representatives of the Federal Executive Committee in the Salzmannbau community center in Düsseldorf to elect the new NRW state executive committee. Due to personal circumstances and a lack of time, the previous board had resigned from office.

The new regional board is made up as follows:

  1. Florian Holtbrügger, investment controller from Ratingen.
  2. Martin Brüggemeier, translator from Ahaus
  3. Paul Vossiek, Master's student on the “Computer Engineering” course from Aachen

In addition, two political spokespersons were co-opted onto the new Board: Simon Kleinlützum will act as economic policy spokesperson, while Julian Oster will take on the position of legal policy spokesperson.

The new Executive Board sees great potential for the party in North Rhine-Westphalia and is looking forward to the upcoming federal and state elections next year. "We have high hopes for the upcoming federal elections. Admission to the election would be an enormously important step for the entire party," says Holtbrügger.

Before the Liberal Democrats can stand for election, they still have an important task ahead of them: in order to be registered for the Bundestag election, they must collect enough supporting signatures and submit them to the electoral officer. Every citizen who is eligible to vote can support them with their signature.
